Board of Commissioners' Appointments
Bridgett Townsend was appointed by the City of Saginaw Mayor on October 10, 2016 to serve as the Resident Commissioner for the Saginaw Housing Commission Board of Commissioners and her term expires September 8, 2018. Bridgett Townsend is a Public Housing resident, who resides in the Scattered Sites Development since September 2015. She is the guardian of her three grandchildren. Townsend enjoys gardening and landscaping. She is involved with community clean-up efforts and the Saginaw Public Schools.
Kelley Peatross was appointed by the City of Saginaw Mayor to serve on November 21, 2016 for the Saginaw Housing Commission Board of Commissioners and her term expires September 30, 2020. Kelley Peatross is the Public Affairs Area Manager in Saginaw and Midland Counties for Consumers Energy with an extensive background in Education, Human Resources and Labor Relations. Most recently, she managed the Michigan Talent Architecture Initiative for Consumers Energy focusing on improving Michigan's skilled workforce talent pipeline by collaborating with business, education, labor and government. She previously served as the Interim Superintendent/Chief Executive Officer with Saginaw Public Schools as well as their Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources and Support Services for four years. Prior to Saginaw, Kelley held leadership roles in East Lansing and Lansing in public schools. Kelley earned her Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources from Spring Arbor University and her Master's and Ph.D. from Western Michigan University in Educational Leadership and Administration. She lives in Saginaw and serves on several boards, including the Great Lakes Bay Region Boys and Girls Club, Veterans Community Action Team Region 5 Board and the Girls Scouts Heart of Michigan.

Please be advised the Saginaw Housing Commission DOES NOT request information from landlords over the phone regarding meetings and/or to obtain personal or financial information. As a precaution do not give any information about yourself or your tenants, and do not give credit card or financial information over the phone unless you initiated the contact. If you have any doubt regarding the authenticity of any call you receive, obtain the caller's name and number and call the SHC to verify.
Changes in Business Hours due to inclement weather
The Saginaw Housing Commission will provide a public announcement for changes in business hours as a result of inclement weather on WNEM TV5 and www.wnem.com on the Community tab.
