Resident Spotlight

Meg Wegs, a resident of Rosien Towers is a published author of Searching for Happiness, which is available on Amazon.

Meg Wegs  Searching for Happiness

Margaret (Meg) Wegs has spent most of her life teaching and helping others; a Catholic School teacher in Iowa for twenty-five years, a missionary on Rosebud Reservation for seven years, and then she worked in a Nursing Home another seven years. She came to Saginaw in 1996 to assist a friend who needed help as she was recovering from a stroke, and then assisted a friend in Bay City.  Meg has lived in Rosein Towers since the year 2000.

Studying a book about religion inspired her to write a book about their histories, past and present. After working three years, she created a clear summary of 30 religions. By learning about other religions and cultures, she hopes readers will gain respect for them and their believers. "Searching for Happiness" by Meg Wegs can be found on Amazon, where you can read the first few pages, Xlibris, the publisher sends the book promptly (hard or soft cover).

Meg recently edited the autobiography of a friend, Mary Williams who tells the story of how her life with relatives changes when she is placed in an orphanage at the age of six and grows up there. Through so many trials, she found new sanctuary in the Bahai Faith. "Second Chances" by Mary Williams is also on Amazon, or friends can contact Meg for a copy.
